Julian Pentz

Julian's a proper musician! He grew up with the sounds of the Beatles and Beethoven in the house. Julian embarked on a journey to the Birmingham Conservatoire in 1983 to study classical Viola, and then rebelled in 1989 & joined his first country music band. He's toured France 3 times and now arrived as a Hog where he's changed our sound and added a real layer of country. Outstanding

What a man. From Bass Guitar, to lead. Mark's really loving country music and boy has he developed into a fine guitarist. Overall top chap who travels far and wide to play live. Mark and Simon have done over 500 gigs together in their other band www.bandsubstance.co.uk & now kicking the heck out of country. Boom!

Gaynor Raybould

Gaynor's dream! For years, Gaynor has wanted to sing in a country band, and now....here she is....

In her words.. "Music has always been a huge part of my life. From listening to The Eagles in the back of Dad’s car to dancing around the living room to Cliff Richard with my Mum to singing along to Charley Pride with my Nan, my world has been filled with music for as long as I can remember.

As a young girl, I would go with my family to the local country music club every week to watch live bands, and it was here my dream to perform was born.

I started singing and playing guitar at 11 and went on to perform solo and in various bands. Finally, in 2018 I joined a Country Rock band. This introduced me to some amazing musicians, sharing the same love of country music as me, 2 of whom remain in the band we have today.

We have been incredibly fortunate to meet more talented and likeminded musicians with a real passion for country music along the way and from this, have been lucky enough, along with Simon, to have formed Boss & The Hogs. I couldn’t be prouder of this band and the strength of our friendships. I can finally say my lifelong dream has come true - living proof you should never give up on your dream. But most importantly, I now get the chance to channel my inner ‘Dolly’ which is pretty damn amazing!! And now I've got to sing in Nashville too!

David "The Lord" Morton

He's well travelled is our David. Started learning the drums at the age of 4. 1st gig at 13! Dave's spent time in Texas and supported, and played the same stages as; Chas & Dave, The Wurzles, The Beat, The Specials, Joules Holland, Top-Loader & Fairport Convention. He IS the beat!!

Matt Brewer

Part of our original line up with our former band, "Tennessee Line". Matt made the move from guitar, to Bass guitar. A truly wonderful human being is our Matt, and forever the diplomat. He's fantastic and we love him. Hog-Tastic!

Simon Morgan

Simon has been performing in various bands for over 32 years and played at venues such as Blenheim Palace, The Savoy, The Grosvenor House Hotel, Woburn Abbey, Beale Street in Memphis, and in 2025 he fulfilled his lifetime dream of singing at the famous "Legends Corner" in Nashville!

For the past 14 years, Simon has entertained thousands of fans at the British Grand Prix, and in addition to the above, Simon has also performed in Dubai & Las Vegas.

A born entertainer who works the crowd, getting them involved and begging for more. Country is in his soul, Dad listened to Don Williams & Tammy Wynette in the car, and then one day, Simon saw Garth in concert! That changed everything. Go Cowboy!
